What is the WhatsApp Cloud API?
The WhatsApp Cloud API is Meta’s official, cloud-hosted interface that lets businesses send and receive WhatsApp messages through software instead of a phone. It powers team inboxes, chatbots, automation and broadcasts at scale, within Meta’s messaging rules.
Cloud API vs the WhatsApp Business app
The Business app is for one person on one phone. The Cloud API supports many agents, automation, integrations and high volumes, but it needs software on top, which is what AIVIO Intelligence provides.
Templates and the 24-hour window
You can reply with normal messages (no template needed) within 24 hours of a customer’s last message. Outside that window, or to start a conversation, you need a pre-approved template.
Getting started
You need a Meta business account and a phone number to register. During onboarding we help you connect the number and set up your first templates.
